Lions and tigers and bears, oh my!

 Ohhhhh right... bears shit in the woods. Almost forgot about that. 




Just in case you have a hard time seeing the time stamp in the bottom-right, that is a two-year-old female black bear walking around our camp for a while, before leaving at 9:03am. 


That is my happy ass arriving at camp, as captured by another camera pointed in a different direction at 9:09am.

In a story full of close calls, this is a close call. This is "it must've been aliens who built this pyramid because you can't even slide a piece of paper between the stones" level closeness. 

Still a good sign--if the land can support bears, it can support us. But man... this one shook me a little, not gonna lie.
